Professor Keith Hill is a Supervising Deputy District Attorney in the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, where he has been a prosecutor for the last 20 years. He obtained his law degree in 1996 from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. As an adjunct professor of law, he teaches Trial Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and Criminal Pretrial Negotiations. As a coach of the mock trial team for more than a decade, he has led McGeorge School of Law teams to multiple championships, including at the National Civil Trial Competition, the American Association of Justice Trial Competition, and the National Trial Competition. He has conducted more than 70 jury trials including, most notably, the NorCal Rapist. He has been awarded Prosecutor of the Year by both the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and the Sacramento County Bar Association, as well as the District Attorney’s Office Victim Services Award and the Beacon of Hope Award.
