McGeorge School of Law offers the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Master of Public Policy (MPP) degrees to both full-time students and to those earning a professional degree while working.
This is the first offering of the MPA or MPP by a law school. Our proximity to the state capitol ensures our students are informed by the context of policy operations in one of the largest and most influential states in the nation. McGeorge has been serving the state, nation, and beyond since 1924 and is proud to build on its relationships and reputation to help students advance their public service careers.
The McGeorge School of Law offers students an opportunity to make an impact in the world. You will become well-versed in the mechanisms of policy, management, and communications that allow you to work toward achieving the policy goals which you value.
Your MPP or MPA degree prepares you for a range of positions in government, nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations, advocacy organizations, and even provides you with the tools to found your own organization. It is an avenue to develop the myriad of competencies needed to achieve your professional vision.
