The Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court promotes excellence in the legal profession, with special emphasis on ethics, civility and professionalism through education, mentorship and community outreach. Membership in the Inn of Court includes, judges, justices, law professors, attorneys, and law students.
Institute for Law Teaching and Learning
The Institute for Law Teaching and Learning provides a learning environment that helps law students achieve the highest academic standards and prepares them to become effective and moral attorneys. The Institute and McGeorge School of Law strive to improve the quality of teaching and learning in legal education.
Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO)
The Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO) seeks to expand opportunities for minority and low-income students to attend law school. McGeorge School of Law’s partnership with CLEO opens doors to the legal profession and law-related careers for students from marginalized populations. Dean Michael Hunter Schwartz and Senior Assistant Dean Tracy Simmons have both received CLEO’s Edge Award, which is awarded for exemplary service and dedication to the legal profession and society.
California Leadership-Access-Workforce Pathways Program
McGeorge School of Law is an institutional partner of the California Leadership-Access-Workforce (Cal LAW) Pathways program, which aims to establish a pipeline of diverse students from high schools, community colleges, four-year institutions, and law schools into law or law-related careers, so that the legal profession better reflects the society we live in.

The Justice Anthony M. Kennedy Library and Learning Center fosters respect for the rule of law and spotlight the independent judiciary's role in protecting the constitutional and civil rights of all. McGeorge School of Law partnered with the Center to promote its educational outreach to citizens of all ages.

The AccessLex Institute aims to increase the quality of legal education for purpose-driven students. AccessLex works to maximize the value and affordability of a law degree through policy advocacy, research, and student-focused initiatives. AccessLex and McGeorge School of Law strive to mold the legal profession into a better field for the next generation of law schools and lawyers.
Sacramento Legal Employers Diversity Collaborative
The Sacramento Legal Employers Diversity Collective is McGeorge School of Law’s long-term, collaborative effort with local elementary, middle and high schools, community colleges and colleges. The legal employers are committed to addressing the need for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession and building more inclusive pathways to law school. The Collective is a group of 37 of the largest legal employers in Sacramento.
