McGeorge awards a number of admissions scholarships incoming members of the first-year class based upon such criteria as outstanding academic promise, diversity, experiential background, and need. Awards range from $1,000 to full-tuition, and many are renewable for each year of the JD program. For merit/performance-based scholarships to be renewed, a first-year student must finish in the top half of their class based on grade point average (GPA). If a student loses their merit/performance-based scholarship, they will have the opportunity to earn it back the following year based on their annual GPA. The admit letter will contain more details.

Admissions scholarships are awarded to full-time division students enrolled in 12 to 17 units or part-time division students enrolled in eight (8) to 10 units. Scholarship funds may not be applied to summer tuition. Admissions scholarships will be prorated based on the percentage of tuition charged if a student takes a reduced course load or switches divisions. Scholarships and grants, when combined cannot exceed the banded rate of tuition.
